ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Here is a list of some of the things we have done to help boost our schools and communities!

In 2022

  • August – Donated toaster oven to high school front office

  • August – Donated stand/shelving unit to Knights TV at high school

  • August – Donated media sign to security crew at high school

  • August – Donated $50 to Rockin’ Frocks to sponsor 1 young lady for Homecoming.

  • May – Presented 1 $750 Community Service Scholarship

  • February – Donated $500 towards Wide Media Format Organizer for the Innovation Lab at the High School

  • January – Donated a toaster to the Staff Lounge makeover at the High School.

  • January – Donated cooking utensils for Karen Hvorka’s Special Needs Lifestyles class at the High School.

 

In 2021

  • December – Donated an Air Fryer/Toaster Oven to the Staff Lounge makeover at the High School

  • October – Provided a grant to Aaron Coleman in the Nordonia High School Science Department for storage fixtures for her new Biotechnology Class.

  • October - Co-sponsored the 7th Annual Fill the Bus Food Collection Campaign benefiting The Emergency Assistance Center (TEAC) in Northfield. Provided a $50 incentive check to each of Lee 
    Eaton, Ledgeview, Northfield, and Rushwood Elementary Schools and a $100 incentive check to Nordonia High School Student Council for their work with this food collection.

  • September – Donated Art Bins for the AP art class at the High School.

  • September – Donated $50 to Rockin’ Frocks to sponsor 1 young lady for Homecoming.

  • June - Donated $300 to NHAA 12U girls travel team towards their tournament trip.

  • June - Donated $300 to NHAA 12U boys travel team towards their tournament trip.

  • May - Presented 2 - $750 Community Service Scholarships.

 

In 2020

  • October - Co-sponsored the 6th Annual Fill the Bus Food Collection Campaign benefiting The Emergency Assistance Center (TEAC) in Northfield.

  • May - Presented 2 - $750 Community Service Scholarships.

 

In 2019

  • December – Donated $100 to Nordonia High School Student Council for collecting the most cans for the Fill the Bus campaign.

  • November – Donated 10 portable desks to go with flexible seating to a 5th grade class at Lee Eaton.

  • October – Donated 2 65-inch TVs to the Middle School choir department for their rehearsal space.

  • October – Donated 16 chairs for flexible seating, 4 chairs to a 5th grade class, 4 chairs to a 6th grade class, and 8 chairs to another 6th grade class at Lee Eaton.

  • October - Co-sponsored the 5th Annual Fill the Bus Food Collection Campaign benefiting The Emergency Assistance Center (TEAC) in Northfield. Donated $100 each to the top collecting Nordonia and Twinsburg School.

  • August – Donated storage bench to Rushwood Library for storing books and seating for students.

  • July - Donated nonperishable food (end of concession season) to TEAC in Northfield.

  • June - Donated $284 to NHAA 12U travel team towards their trip to Cooperstown.

  • May to July - 18 Volunteers worked 201 hours at our Concession Stand for NHAA baseball games at Sagamore Hills Park.

  • May - Presented 2 - $750 Community Service Scholarships.

  • March - Donated $50 to Rockin’ Frocks to sponsor 1 young lady for Prom.

 

In 2018

  • December - Donated 2 55-inch TVs to the Middle School for announcements and meetings in the cafeteria.

  • October - Co-sponsored the 4th Annual Fill the Bus Food Collection Campaign benefiting TEAC in Northfield. Donated $100 each to the top collecting Nordonia and Twinsburg School. Both schools donated the $100 back to TEAC.

  • September - Purchased new top loading washer and dryer for the High School Special Needs Learning Area.

  • August - Purchased 12 chairs for flexible seating, 6 each for two different 6th grade classes at Lee Eaton.

  • July - Donated $200 to NHAA 12U travel team towards their trip to Cooperstown.

  • July - Purchased 3 chairs and a Keurig machine for the National Honor Society Tutor Lab at the High School.

  • July - Donated nonperishable food (from end of concession sales season) to 4 Corners City Outreach Inc., a local charity that feeds the homeless every other Friday.

  • May to July - we had 37 Volunteers work 280 hours at our Concession Stand for NHAA baseball games at Sagamore Hills Park.

  • May - Presented 2 - $750 Community Service Scholarships. One to a graduating Nordonia Senior and another to a graduating Senior that lives in our community that does not attend Nordonia.

  • February - Donated $50 to Rockin’ Frocks to sponsor 1 young lady for Prom.

 

In 2017

  • October - Donated 3 Keurig machines, one each for Northfield, Lee Eaton, and Ledgeview.

  • October - Donated $1,000 towards Knights Wall Decal, main entrance Middle School.

  • September - Co-Sponsored the 3 rd Annual Fill the Bus Food Collection Campaign benefiting TEAC in Northfield. Donated $100 each to the top collecting Nordonia Schools, Northfield, and Lee Eaton. Both schools donated the $100 back to TEAC.

  • September - Donated a new refrigerator for the staff lounge at the High School.

  • September - Donated $40 to Rockin’ Frocks to sponsor 1 young lady for Homecoming.

  • July - Donated Flagpole to Nordonia Safety Town at Rushwood Elementary.

  • July - Donated nonperishable food (end of concession season) to 4 Corners City Outreach Inc.

  • May to July – 15 Volunteers worked 212 hours at our Concession Stand at Sagamore Hills Park.

  • June - Donated $638.60 to the NHAA 12U team for their trip to Cooperstown.

  • May - Presented 2 - $750 Community Service Scholarships.

  • February - Donated $50 to Rockin’ Frocks to sponsor 1 young lady for Prom.

 

In 2016

  • September- Donated $25 donation to Rockin’ Frocks to sponsor 1 young lady for Homecoming.
